Support The Greene Space

The Jerome L. Greene Performance Space is one of many ways WNYC and WQXR serve and support the New York community. The Greene Space is a new destination for artists and audiences—a venue for news, music, video, theater, art, political debate and cultural discussions—all that New York City has to offer.

When you support WNYC and WQXR, your gift helps fund The Greene Space, podcasting, webcasting, and the exceptional radio programming you enjoy on WNYC 93.9 FM, AM 820, and WQXR 105.9 FM.

WNYC and WQXR member contributions help keep us on the air, online and live—in The Greene Space. Become a WNYC and WQXR member, and join the community today.

New York Public Radio is thrilled to offer a very special opportunity to name a seat in our new Jerome L. Greene Performance Space.

Become a part of WNYC history! Make a special gift of $5,000 or more today—over and above your regular annual membership—and in recognition of your support, we'll affix an engraved nameplate to one of only 130 seats in this wonderful performance space on the ground floor of our new home and broadcast center on Varick Street. You can choose to pay your gift in a single payment or in monthly installments.

Please contact Tom Blanchard for more information, at (646) 829-4482 or via e-mail at

Please note: Your contribution to name a seat will be considered an additional gift to New York Public Radio, will not renew your membership, and will not guarantee seating for events and programs. Membership renewal gifts do not qualify for seat naming opportunities. Seats in The Greene Space are movable and will not necessarily be in the same location for every event or program.
