Rufus Wainwright performs in a special one-night-only event

Explore the classical side of acclaimed singer/songwriter Rufus Wainwright in this very special one-night-only event!

Hosted by WQXR’s Terrance McKnight, Rufus Wainwright performed live, spoke about his lifelong love of classical music, and discussed the music from his opera Prima Donna, his “love song to opera” (London Times), which will receive its New York premiere by New York City Opera at BAM on February 19. The evening will also featured performances by Prima Donna cast members Melody Moore, Kathryn Guthrie Demos, Taylor Stayton and Randal Turner.
