The exhibit is curated and produced by Danny Simmons and Brian Tate. Simmons is a painter, poet, novelist, philanthropist, and gallery owner, as well as creator of HBO's Def Poetry, and co-founder/Vice Chair of Rush Philanthropic Arts Foundation. Tate is a marketing strategist, singer-songwriter, and event producer, as well as creator/co-founder of the Brooklyn New Music Festival, the Dark Harvest Film Festival, the Postmillennial Black Madonna exhibition, and the Full Spectrum panel discussion series.
