Singer-songwriter Josh Ritter, novelist Junot Díaz and actor Martha Plimpton join host Kurt Andersen for an evening of music and storytelling in this special live edition of Studio 360.
Josh Ritter - named one of the greatest living songwriters by Paste Magazine - will perform songs off his new album "So Runs the World Away." Junot Díaz is the author of the Pulitzer Prize-winning novel The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao. Born in the Dominican Republic and raised in New Jersey, Díaz is a professor of creative writing at MIT. With her busy career on stage and screen, Entertainment Weekly called Martha Plimpton one of the hardest working actors in showbiz. A three-time Tony nominee, Plimpton recently starred in the HBO series "How to Make it in America" and CBS’s drama “The Good Wife.”
The program will be taped for national broadcast and webcast live from thegreenespace.org.
Wine and beer will be served.
Ritter’s new record, called “So Runs the World Away” will be released on Tuesday, May 4th.
