A concert film might just be a concert film, unless the artist in question is Regina Spektor. The Russian-born, New York-raised singer and pianist has packed surprises (and charm and wit) into five studio albums. Now we’ll find out what’s in store on a CD/DVD set called “Live in London,” when Spektor joins us to perform for our live audience in The Greene Space.
New Orleans has produced plenty of remarkable singers, but few of those native sons and daughters sing quite like Aaron Neville. He joins us in The Greene Space to talk about teaming up with pianist Allen Toussaint and producer Joe Henry to explore gospel music on the new album “I Know I’ve Been Changed.” And, Neville performs for our live audience.
