Notable for its extremely quick tempo and pure improvisation, Bebop takes over The Greene Space. The Greene Space witnessed historic performances by jazz pianists Hod O'Brien and Gerald Clayton, readings from novelist and recording artist Carl Hancock Rux, a special appearance by Bob Gurland, and lots of improvisation among them all. A conversation about the global resonance of Bebop was threaded throughout the evening.
