To mark the 75th anniversary of Zora Neale Hurston's novel Their Eyes Were Watching God, The Greene Space will transform into a Harlem Renaissance-style salon with live music, readings, wine and hors d’oeuvres. Mix and mingle and enjoy excerpts from Zora Neale Hurston’s writing, read by award-winning actor and poet, Carl Hancock Rux and and award-winning actress, writer and director, Patrice Johnson. Singers Toshi Reagon, Nona Hendryx, Martha Redbone, Marcelle Lashley and KimberlyNichole will perform.
Tickets include wine and light hors d'oeuvres.
