This event is sold out. Tune into this space Monday at 7:45pm ET for a livestream of the discussion.

Join us in The Greene Space for an exclusive advance screening of the ABC show followed by a talkback featuring author/Yale Law professor Amy Chua ("Battle Hymn of the Tiger Mother" and "The Triple Package"), hip-hop artist Awkwafina (MTV's "Girl Code") and Jay Smooth (host of WBAI's "Underground Railroad" and the Ill Doctrine videoblog), moderated by Jeff Yang, Wall Street Journal Online columnist and father of the show's 11-year-old star Hudson Yang. Your ticket purchase gets you a drink ticket as well as a bao from Eddie Huang's Baohaus.

EPISODES:

"The Shunning": When the cul-de-sac plans a block party to celebrate NASCAR, Louis urges the family to use the event to make new friends (and promote Cattleman’s Ranch Steakhouse). But Jessica has problems fitting in, especially after she befriends a beautiful trophy wife the roller blade moms don’t like. Meanwhile, Eddie schemes to win the respect of the neighborhood kids.

"Success Perm": A visit from Jessica's sister and her affluent husband creates out-of-control family rivalry.
