The Greene Space has become a destination for New York City’s incomparable arts and culture scene.  We are proud to offer our dynamic 120-seat to 200-standing, street-level, state-of-the-art audio and video broadcast studio and performance venue, as a unique and memorable setting for your special event.  Walk away with a broadcast quality audio CD and hi def, five camera video DVD of your event.  You can also reach your audiences around the world on your website with our live video webcast capabilities.  We look forward to making your event an extraordinary one.

How to rent The Greene Space:

  1. Read the Rental Guidelines
  2. Fill out the Rental Application
  3. Email the application to and put “Space Usage Request” in your subject line.

Rental rates starts at $3200 for non-profit and $4800 for for-profit. All renters MUST provide two (2) Certificate of Insurance documents for your event upon signing contract. See the bottom of this page for the samples.

Dimensions: 1,823 sq. ft.; height 13’ 16”
Stage with bamboo flooring: 12’ x 16’  and 14” high

Floor Plans: Theater style, cocktail style, or standing room

Physical Features: air-conditioning, lighting grid that covers entire space, acoustical panels

Lighting: LED ambient lighting and LED theatrical lighting system

Equipment Available: video projection with 110” projection screen, 4 - 32” LCD panels attached to columns and one 60” LCD screen, PA system, concert Fazioli grand piano, audio control room, theatrical lighting board, lighting instruments, recording, isolation recording booth, HD 4 robotic camera system with video control room

Artists’ amenities/support: catering pantry, green room, reception lobby

Furniture/Misc: 140 chairs, maple-finished lectern, 10 music stands, 10 orchestral chairs, stanchions

Seating capacity: This space is flexible; seating capacity varies depending upon the area devoted to the presenters/performers. Typical set-up is 120 seated and 200-standing.
