Architecture & Design Film Festival Exclusive Sneak Preview
The Greene Space at WNYC joins the Architecture & Design Film Festival in celebrating the unique creative spirit that drives architecture and design with a series of three exclusive sneak preview screenings of films with a local focus. All films will be introduced by ADFF festival director Kyle Bergman and be followed by talkbacks moderated by The Takeaway.

'The Happy Film' Screening

Tonight we kick off our series of three sneak preview screenings of films with a local focus with The Happy Film. The movie follows graphic designer Stefan Sagmeister as he undergoes a series of self-experiments outlined by popular psychology to test once and for all if it’s possible for a person to have a meaningful impact on their own happiness.
The Architects: A Story of Loss, Memory and Real Estate

Tonight we get a sneak preview of The Architects: A Story of Loss, Memory and Real Estate, a yet-to-be-completed film about the competition to rebuild the site of the World Trade Center after 9/11. We'll be joined by director Tom Jennings.
Design with Impact Film Screenings
Thurs, September 22
Tonight we get a sneak preview of two short films about sustainable design for underserved communities: 14+ Foundation, directed by Jenna Elizabeth, a film about the Chipakata Children's Academy in Zambia; and Designed to Heal a Mass Design project of a beautiful cholera clinic in Haiti. The screenings will be followed by a conversation about the state of this work in NYC and beyond.
