PRX Presents: Voices of Tomorrow

Thursday October 5 2023 • 7:00pm - 9:00pm ET
In-person event

Overview

Join PRX for an extraordinary evening of discussion and discovery.

This event celebrates the debut of four podcasts chosen through The PRX Big Questions Project, supported by The John Templeton Foundation. These four shows were selected – by a team of leaders in the fields of spirituality, humanities, media & podcast professionals – from over hundreds of pitches during last year’s open call for ideas. They invited individuals, thinkers, and storytellers to create groundbreaking content that explores the intersection of science, philosophy, and religion.

Hosted by David DeSteno, acclaimed author of “How God Works: The Science Behind Spirituality,” the event features the four podcast teams. Together, they will delve into their podcast series, which span topics such as uplifting historically-minimized people of faith, examining the impact of Christian pop music, exploring human well-being in relation to technology, and reflecting on the many dimensions of motherhood.

This gathering serves as the public launch for these inspiring podcasts and a celebration of the Big Questions Project’s mission to promote thoughtful dialogue at the crossroads of scientific and spiritual life.

Don’t miss this opportunity to meet “Moral Repair”, “Rock That Doesn’t Roll”, “Second Sunday” & “Mother Is A Question”, join the conversation, and gain new perspectives on some of life’s Big Questions.
