Join us for a live broadcast of his Peabody Award-winning radio show in which Brian will take questions from callers and the audience at The Greene Space.
On the show: Tereza Lee, known as the first “Dreamer.” In 2001 her struggle to attend college as an undocumented immigrant inspired Senator Dick Durbin to introduce the Dream Act. Lee will talk about what being a Dreamer means to her and advocates for immigrant rights. WQXR’s Elliott Forrest will join Brian as a co-host in this segment to talk to Lee about her training at the Manhattan School of Music, playing in Carnegie Hall and how music has shaped her life in the United States.
