Pull up a seat in our intimate studio space and see a live broadcast of WNYC’s Peabody Award-winning radio show.

Host Brian Lehrer will take questions from the audience and welcome guests on stage to talk about what matters most now in local and national politics, our own communities and our lives. In this installment, Brian is joined by the authors of some exciting new books. 

  • Christopher Wylie, helped set up Cambridge Analytica and then revealed its misuse of data, now the author of Mindf*ck: Cambridge Analytica and the Plot to Break America, talks about his new book, sharing what he knows about partisan data misuse;
  • At the one-year anniversary of Bret Kavanaugh’s confirmation as a Supreme Court Justice, and the start of the Court’s new term, New York Times reporters Robin Pogrebin and Kate Kelly talk about their new book, The Education of Brett Kavanaugh: An Investigation;
  • James B. Stewart, the New York Times columnist and New Yorker staff writer, who will talk about his new book that reveals more about President Trump’s efforts to contain the Russia investigations, Deep State: Trump, the FBI, and the Rule of Law;

Plus:

  • The Sporkful’s Dan Pashman takes for a seasonal look at apples: how new varieties are developed –and named, including the 20-years-in-the-making, Cosmic Crisp.
