Overview

Join WNYC’s Leonard Lopate for a live broadcast of his show with guests Tony Shalhoub of Broadway’s buzzed-about new musical “The Band’s Visit,” along with creators David Yazbek and Itamar MosesKatrina Lenk and Ari’el Stachel will perform from the show, live on our stage.

Also joining Leonard will be Academy Award nominee Gary Oldman, talking about his explosive role as Winston Churchill in the new movie “Darkest Hour,” along with its director Joe Wright.

David Henry Hwang will also join us to talk about the first Broadway revival of his Tony Award-winning play, “M. Butterfly,” along with its director, Tony Award winner Julie Taymor.
