Overview
The Greene Space hosted a very special sneak preview of The Enchanted Island, the Met’s world-premiere production which debuts on New Year’s Eve. Met stars David Daniels, Danielle de Niese, Lisette Oropesa and Luca Pisaroni performed, and the creative team – the work’s creator and writer Jeremy Sams and director-designer team Phelim McDermott and Julian Crouch – were interviewed. Showcasing arias by Handel, Vivaldi, Rameau and others, The Enchanted Island is the Met’s love-letter to Shakespeare and the music of the Baroque.
