Overview
WQXR’s talented cohort of emerging musicians explore newer and lesser known works of trailblazing and underrepresented composers in this virtual and live recital series. The recitals, each featuring one of the six musicians in the Artist Propulsion Lab, will include the world premiere of Esteban Zapata’s Folk Songs, works by revolutionary female composers, the music of John Zorn, and—as always— a bit of Beethoven.
