To Liz -
One of the big problems with our election system in NY is that you have to change your party registration almost a year in advance of the election! The deadline to change affiliation for the 2018 primaries was Oct. 13th of LAST year. Just one more way to disenfranchise NY voters.

Just heard a caller stating they would vote for Perez over AS Cousins. Perez voted with Astorino and Republicans as a Westchester Legislator. She was and is the IDC of our County! She has not disclosed her financing. Just because someone is "new" and female does not make them the next Octavia-Cortez.

My husband changed his party affliation to Democrat this year so that he could vote in the primary. When he arrived at the polls in Greenpoint this morning he was told he was registered with the Reform party and turned away. There was one other person there who was told the same thing. Is anyone else experiencing incorrect party registration today?

I have a great disdain for Cuomo, given how corrupt I believe he is. I don't know how I can support Nixon, though, given how inexperienced I know she is. To me, it's as if I were in a plane: I'd rather have a corrupt pilot than an honest flight attendant in the cockpit. My wife disagrees with me. She thinks, at the very least, the person leading us should be honest.
