A Greene Space Look at Their Eyes Were Watching God

Thursday April 25 2024 • 9:46am - 9:46am ET

As we look forward to our upcoming event, Their Eyes Were Watching God: Teacake’s Legacy, we are reminded of the great depth with which we’ve delved into this seminal novel.  We’ve heard many perspectives on Zora Neale Hurston’s work and her position in the feminist canon.  We now look to expand on that thinking with a panel of men who are leaders in a variety of fields to discuss their experiences of the novel.

As we anxiously await that sure to be lively discussion, join us in taking a look at only a portion of what we’ve discovered thus far in The Greene Space’s Zora Neale Hurston Project.  It has been quite the journey.
