Join founder Toni Thai Sterrett and her NFT project, Bad Grrls Creative Club, as they explore, discuss, and showcase what it’s like to be a creative in this new world where the creator is queen! The second night will take a deep dive into the future of fashion, sustainability and fashion technology.

About the Artist
As a filmmaker, photographer and NFT creator, Toni Thai Sterrett has created short film, commercial and branded content for clients such as Pantene, Clinique, etc,. and has worked with Taraji P. Henson, Rob Lowe, and others. She was chosen by Ava Duvernay as Vibe’s Next Female Filmmaker for her directing efforts on her short film, Presumed, inspired by the tragic murder of Trayvon Martin.

In 2020, Toni excelled as a creator on Clubhouse where she gained a following of over 250,000. She’s hosted conversations for Amazon, Bumble, Coindesk, HBO, Walmart, and Showtime, and for talents such as Tiffany Haddish, Barry Jenkins, and more.

Afrodet Zuri

Afrodet Zuri is a philanthropist, art curator, art dealer and writer. She moved to New York over a decade ago to pursue her master’s degree in Contemporary Art at the Institute for Art at Sotheby’s.

She is the founding Co-chair of Storm King Circle, the young patrons group for Storm King Art Center, a founding Contemporary of the Whitney Museum as well as a founding Patron of Fotografiska Museum. She has curated exhibitions in the traditional art world, including a retrospective at the Museum of Modern Art in Moscowand curates the art all year round for the Four Seasons Beverly Hills in Los Angeles.

Afrodet curated the first NFT exhibition in the Oculus at the World Trade Center in June 2022 that ran across the entire Westfield network for a month and serves as the curator at large for the NFT creator platform, Blockparty, an early adopter of NFTs, minting their first NFTs in 2018.

She serves as an advisor to the digital media platform, nft now, and during Miami Basel 2021 she curated Blockparty’s NFT showcase for The Gateway activation hosted by nft now & Christies. Afrodet personally invests in NFTs and guides her collectors on the traditional and NFT art spaces.

Her writing on art can be found in Coolhunting, Modern Luxury and a handful of other publications.

David Gensler

David Gensler is an entrepreneur, designer, and strategist. He has spent over 30 years helping to launch, grow and innovate some of the worlds largest brands, organizations and entertainers. He spends half his time in business management, finance and strategy and the other half in creative direction, design and brand growth.

David moved to NYC in 2003 to become a partner at Jay Z’s Roc-a-Fella Records and ROC brands and lead strategy on major projects such as The Black Album and Kanye West’s debut album, The College Drop Out.

After leaving the ROC in 2005, he founded the worlds largest creative collective, The Keystone Design Union and a network of lifestyle brands, including The Royal Magazine, SVSV fashion label and an agency, The KDU which worked with long list of brands such as, nike, adidas, LVMH, Hennessy, Coca-Cola and others.

Most recently David founded Vanish, a lifestyle brand and platform focused on the outdoor culture, fashion, media and retail.

Janice aka Rarityjan

Rarityjan is an ex-Wall Street trader, Silicon Valley unicorn tech company operator, San Francisco Tech Fashion Week director, and Founder & CEO of Dopamine. Dopamine’s mission is to bring NFTs to mainstream pop culture by creating next generation streetwear that bridges the gap between the physical and digital worlds, enabling new interactions between brands, web artists, and consumers through an on-chain identity layer to showcase collectibles and a 3D shopping experience.

Mec Zilla

Mec Zilla is Multi-Disciplinary Artist/Design Director/Strategist who has designed and developed campaigns for brands such as Disney, Marvel, UMG, Verizon, Coca Cola, Heineken, Vice Media, Afro-Punk, and the like, for 15 years.

Currently in the Web3 space as a Web3 + NFT educator, DE&I advocate and consultant to brands like Converse, Jordan, Nike, and Springhill/ROBOT as well as projects and people such as Deadfellaz, Superchief Gallery, Steve Aoki’s A0K1VERSE, Snoop Dogg, Gary Vaynerchuk, Spike Lee and Tyson Beckford.

Bootsy Collins

Bootsy Collins is one of the all-time great funk and R&B bassists/singer/bandleaders/music producers; as well as being recognized by Rolling Stone Magazine as the number four bassist of all time. From 1969 to 1971, the group functioned as James Brown’s backup band and was dubbed the J.B.’s. In 1972, Bootsy joined George Clinton’s Parliament/Funkadelic. Collins He launched Bootsy’s Rubber Band as a spinoff of P-Funk in 1976.
