Black, White, Female, Other: Exploring Feminist Identity in this #MeToo Moment

Thursday April 25 2024 • 9:24pm - 9:24pm ET

To mark Women’s History Month, The Other Box Project looks at how race has factored into this moment of #MeToo.

Join host Jami Floyd for a conversation with Anna Holmes, editorial director of Topic.com and founder of Jezebel; Tanya K. Hernández, the Archibald R. Murray Professor of Law at Fordham University and Sophie Ellman-Golan, a social justice activist and co-founder of Confront White Womanhood. They’ll consider the intersection of race and gender, the relationship between white feminists and women of color, and the recognition of diverse voices in the conversation around #MeToo.

About the Series

The Other Box Project is a year-long series of public conversations, film and exhibitions exploring the changing nature of multiracial identity in the 50 years since the landmark decision in Loving v. Virginia.
