Originally Aired: Friday, October 30, 2020

The Canadian Brass perform Christmas music live in The Greene Space

Just in time for the holiday season, the Canadian Brass stopped by The Greene Space for an exclusive New York performance from their new CD, Christmas Time Is Here.

Presented by WQXR on December 13, 2013, the concert featured classics from some of the most popular animated specials created for the holidays. The performance included arrangements of music by Vince Guaraldi and Luther Henderson as well as traditional favorites from A Charlie Brown Christmas, The Grinch Who Stole Christmas, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Frosty the Snowman and more – timeless classics infused with jazz and lush harmonies. WQXR’s Jeff Spurgeon hosted.
