Hercules in Manhattan

Watch a dramatic theatrical reading of Euripides’ Madness of Hercules, an ancient Greek tragedy about a gruesome act of violence committed by an angry man with an invincible weapon.

Featuring Brooklyn City Council Member Jumaane Williams, and actors Frankie FaisonChinasa Ogbuagu and Ato Essandoh. This is a project of Theater of War Productions, which presents community-specific, theater-based projects that address pressing public health and social issues.

A conversation between members of the law enforcement community, victims and perpetrators of gun violence and the general public about gun violence will follow the performance.
