Lady Moon and The Eclipse opened the show strong, with a presentation judge LaRonda Davis awarded four stars, especially for this group’s vocal prowess. Eren Cannata, a singer-songwriter himself wanted to join this band, asking if he could sing backup.

Tatiana Scott
Text BX5 to 69866
Judges and audience alike were blown away by Tatiana Scott’s vocal chops, but also by the cohesiveness of her band, which includes a truly impressive drummer (aged 13!). Judge Bob Power remarked, “You weren’t just struttin’ your stuff, it was all in service of the music.”

Russ Kaplan + 7
Text BX6 to 69866
The judges agreed this jazz ensemble brought the party, with compelling solos and generous writing for all eight instrumentalists in the band. “You had everything,” said Eren Cannata, “including some crazy rock guitar.” Bob Power put his astonishment more simply, asking band leader Russell Kaplan, “Where are you from? And by that I mean what planet.”
