It’s the Battle for Brooklyn! Twelve undiscovered musical acts will compete. Only one can be crowned the borough’s best and go on to the citywide showdown: the Ultimate Battle of the Boroughs.
Emceed by WQXR’s Terrance McKnight and featuring guest judges John Schaefer, host of WNYC’s Soundcheck; Hardcore-Soul Queen Tamar-kali; and producer Bob Power.
UPDATE: Voting is now closed. The five borough finalists will be announced Monday, June 9 at 1pm ET here on our website. Then they’ll go on to a second, weeklong round of voting. The Brooklyn Battle winner will be announced on Monday, June 16. They’ll compete against the other boroughs winners for bragging rights and big prizes at the Ultimate Battle of the Boroughs on June 27.
