WQXR Presents Summer Arts Institute Concert
Students from New York City's Summer Arts Institute perform live in The Greene Space.
WQXR celebrated the awesome musical talents of New York City public school kids with a free concert on July 23 featuring students from this year’s Summer Arts Institute, a program of the NYC Department of Education.
The showcase was also an opportunity to celebrate the generosity of the thousands of listeners who donated to theWQXR Instrument Drive: During the concert, select instruments collected through the drive were played.
